Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Coordinator to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Located in Tempe, Arizona, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening.What you get to do every single day- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Perform special projects as assigned- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Accomplish full-cycle A/P- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
